Plywood GOST 3916.1-96 grade FSF 1220х2440 mm
Plywood is a board material glued out of three and more thin sheets of rotary cut veneer (thickness 2 mm; 1.5 mm) with mutually perpendicular direction of fibres in adjacent layers.
- Plywood thickness – 4 mm – 30 mm.
- Plywood is made of birch, alder.
- Depending on the appearance of external layers the plywood is subdivided to 5 grades: Е, I, II, III, IV.
- By water resistance of the glued connection the FSF plywood has increased water resistance.
- The FSF plywood is glued on the basis of phenol formaldehyde resin RPF-3014.
- By the degree of mechanical surface procession the plywood is subdivided to sanded and non-sanded ones.
- Emission class – Е1 (formaldehyde content per 100 g of absolutely dry plywood mass – by 8.0 mg, inclusive).
- Physical and mechanical features of plywood:
-
- Moisture content – 5-10 %.
- Shear strength on a glued layer after boiling in water:
- during 1 hour – at least 1.5 MPa (for birch), 1.2 MPa (for alder);
- during 6 hours – at least 1.2 МPа (for birch), 1.0 МPа (for alder).
- Field of application: for the internal and external use, in construction.
